It truly is the little things in life when it comes to ease and comfort. I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a sock snob, but I do have some very specific criteria for what I want out of a pair of socks that I plan on using several times a week to run, bike, hike, or just knocking around the house. (And, yes, my feet do smell.) First and somewhat foremost, I have a semi-permanent tan line several inches (5”, to be exact) above my ankles that needs to be hidden. These socks fit that line perfectly, while also providing enough grip and compression to maintain that height through hours in the saddle and on the road.
However, if it was all about sock height, then I would save a few bucks and buy a 6-pack of cotton socks from Wal-Mart (which I have done, and have regretted).
